We are so grateful for every one of you, the last 2 years have been amazing.  I fondly remember our first post ever.  I remember how exciting it was when someone found us and tried one of our recipes. Getting a comment was an incredible thrill. 2 years later it is still exhilarating to see the comments come in and hear your stories about trying the recipes. You have become like family to us.

What a summer it has been and we are excited to show our gratitude with an awesome John Boos giveaway! {{GIVEAWAY CLOSED}} Congrats to Shirley Cooley!

But first lets talk ice cream.  I am so excited to share this recipe for Banana Split Ice Cream Pops.  It is all my favorite things about a banana split transformed into a fantastic ice cream pop, complete with a cherry inside!  Fresh bananas, strawberries and vanilla ice cream come together to create the base for this chocolate and peanut covered ice pop wonderland.

Coated in homemade magic shell it has a perfectly crisp chocolate and peanut coating to make this my new favorite ice cream pop.  I am sure you are going to love it too!

I am even more excited to share our fabulous anniversary giveaway with you.  About a month ago the fine people at John Boos sent us our choice of cutting boards to review and also are supplying us with a matching one to give away to YOU, one of our fabulous readers!

I have about 8 cutting boards, this gorgeous John Boos reversible 2 1/4″ thick edge grain American Cherry wood cutting board with hand grips makes 9.  The quality and workmanship is far superior to anything I have used before.  The board even comes complete with Boos Block Cream Finish with Bees Wax so you can take care of your board. A total $300 value!!!

I have been using this board for a month now and I have to tell you it is a dream come true.  I have wanted a Boos cutting board for years, but never took the time to stop and get one.  Now, WE (Chad and I both) are so in love with John Boos products that Chad went and found a Boos Butcher Block for the kitchen too!  Which I am head over heels in love.

You know how you see the cooks and chefs on tv work with their board with such ease.  They are truly that fabulous.  I am so excited by the performance of these cutting boards I am already looking at other models.  I can’t seem to have enough cutting boards in my kitchen and I would like to replace all of my other sizes with John Boos cutting boards!

Do you think I could have my kitchen redone in John Boos Butcher Block?

Serious quality that will last for years to come.  Obviously, I LOVE my cutting board and am certain you will love yours too!  I can’t wait for one of our lucky readers to receive their very own John Boos Cutting Board!
