Your favorite slice of pizza transformed into Pepperoni Pizza Soup. This fabulous recipe goes from prep to plate in just 30 minutes and all in one pot.
My family is filled with picky eaters. I am a veggie lover, Chad barely touches anything fresh and Munchkin is somewhere in between. Don't even get me started on meat. We all have our own food favorites and dislikes, but pizza brings us all together. Transforming our favorite pizza into a scrumptious soup was a dinner that we all loved.
Served in a homemade or store bought bread bowl this is sure to be your favorite.
For simple bread bowls: Combine 4 frozen dinner rolls to make a ball. Place dough balls on a baking sheet sprayed with non stick spray. Brush dough balls with egg wash (beaten egg and 1 tablespoon water). Cover with plastic wrap and a tea towel. Let rise until doubled in size, approximately 60-90 minutes. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut a 3" circle in center of bread. Hollow out bread and spoon soup in.
