Sweet Lemon Yogurt Fruit Dip

Happy Friday Slow Roasters!  I am so excited to be bringing you this simple dip today.  I have been preparing the perfect Mother’s Day brunch.  This brunch is what I would serve my own Mommy, if we lived close enough to brunch.  Last night we shared the Raspberry Lemon Prosecco Cocktail to get things started.

I would also be serving this sinfully delicious Cinnamon Swirl French Toast with the adorable fruit bowl you see here, paired with the most flavorful Sweet Lemon Yogurt Fruit Dip.

The yogurt dip is simple to make and the flavor is amazing!  I have been making lemon syrup lately (I guess I should do an official post) and have found so many ways to use it.  This dip is one way that brings so much flavor to the table with such a easy step.  We love dipping fruit in it and dips have been a great way to get Munchkin to try things that she may have turned away before.

Skip breakfast this Mothers Day.  Serve a beautiful brunch.  Give your Mom what she really wants… to sleep in.

Happy Mother’s Day Mom!  I love you!

Lemon Syrup

  • In a small sauce pan combine ingredients. Bring to a boil and allow to come to room temperature. Best to leave the lemon zest in the syrup overnight (in the refrigerator), but can be used immediately. Strain lemon zest and pour syrup into a glass container and store in the refrigerator until needed.
