Alcohol shooters are always popular on New Years Eve but these delicious shots of liquor will get the party going any time of the year!
What are alcohol shooters?
Party shooters became popular in the 1970s, when party-goers would mix shots of liquor with syrups or other spirits.
Shooter glasses are tall and slender; most can hold 2 to 3 ounces of alcohol… some are even larger than that!
In comparison, 1.5 ounces is the standard serving for a regular shot glass.
So, needless to say, the large size of a shooter glass is perfect for holding layered drinks.
You can mix up a batch of a few of your favorite cocktails and serve them all night. For a larger party, plastic shot cups or shooter vials make for easy cleanup. Both are available at most party stores.
Pair them with our Best Ever Appetizers for the perfect celebration that your guests will love.
For a more laid back approach fill a couple of pitchers with your favorite alcohol shooters already mixed, then set the shot glasses/cups next to the pitchers for a self serve mini bar.
