Its Tuesday!!! Welcome to "Simply Delicious", where every Tuesday I share dishes with you that are fast and easy to prepare. With a mere 5 ingredients and a few minutes you can have this fantastic Strawberry Banana Smoothie as a breakfast at home or on the go.
We love this smoothie. Em even has her very own smoothie cup (Winnie the Pooh with a straw). She adores Strawberry Banana Smoothies. I enjoy the protein in this smoothie from the yogurt, especially when she is being finicky.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
½ cup orange juice
1 cup non-fat plain yogurt
3 cup frozen sliced strawberries
2 medium banana, frozen and sliced (about 1 cup)
1 cup non-fat plain yogurt
3 cup frozen sliced strawberries
2 medium banana, frozen and sliced (about 1 cup)
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
In a blender, combine the orange juice, vanilla, yogurt, strawberries, and banana.
Blend until completely smooth. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
