Spicy Grilled London Broil

Looking for a quick and easy meal?  This Spicy Grilled London Broil Steak Sandwich is the just what you have been looking for.  With a spicy punch of flavor and an amazing peppercorn steak sauce you are going to love it.

Simple prep and it will be on your plate in a flash!  Perfect spice, moist and delicious steak on a hoagie roll.  What could be better?  Chad and I both devoured this steak and enjoyed several sandwiches each.

The steak was also delicious on a salad with ranch dressing.  This recipe is a keeper!

Enjoy!

TSRI's Signature Barbecue Sauce is a well balanced smoky barbecue sauce with a mouth watering aroma.  Its perfectly sweet, with just enough spice to warm your palate.

Small in size, BIG on taste. These Lil Texas Barbeque Sliders pack a COLOSSAL punch! Layers of flavor, basted in homemade BBQ sauce. Divine.

Spicy London Broil Steak Sandwich
2 pound London broil
1 recipe Lil Texas Spice Rub (recipe below)
Hoagie rolls
Peppercorn steak sandwich sauce (recipe below)
Lettuce
Tomato slices
Onion slices

Preheat grill to high.

Press paper towel onto steak to dry.  Spray with olive oil and sprinkle Lil Texas Spice Rub all over steak. Flip steak over and repeat.  Once grill is hot (about 15 minutes) place steak on the hottest part of the grill and cook 7-10 minutes on each side.  Grill until you have good grill marks and the steak is medium rare to medium (about 140 degrees F).

Transfer steak to cutting board and let rest, tented with foil, about 10 minutes. Holding thin slicing knife at 45-degree angle to meat, slice very thinly.  Prepare bread by slicing in half lengthwise and spreading with steak sandwich sauce.  Add lettuce, tomato and onion.  Layer slices of steak.

Serve and enjoy!

  1. Beautiful steak sandwich! I could never be vegetarian - sometime you just gotta have steak! The sauce sounds so interesting too - I'll have to look for that A1 peppercorn sauce. Thanks!

  6. If you're looking for medium rare, I'd only cook the London broil only to about 125 because the internal temperature will continue to rise (approximately another 5 degrees) while resting. At 140, you're pretty much at a medium well. It's all a matter of preference.

    Otherwise, this sandwich looks good!
