Peanut Butter Banana "Milk Shake" / Smoothie

This milkshake is a lower calorie and lighter dessert.   With less than 1/2 of the calories of a traditional milk shake. The frozen bananas cream up like ice cream, the peanut butter adds a lovely yet subtle flavor.  Em (my 19 month old daughter) loved this.  I hope you do too.

Peanut Butter Banana “Milk Shake” - Serves 6
5 frozen bananas, cut into chunks
1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
1 cup 2% milk

Place banana, peanut butter, and milk in a blender. Blend for about 1 minute or until mixture is completely smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

  8. I made this smoothie this morning and it was very tasty, but very rich! I think maybe next time I will use less peanut butter, just a personal preference. Thanks for the great recipe! :]

  11. This is a snap to make and tasty as well. I agree with another poster it did seem really rich so I may put just a tad less peanut butter to lessen the richness a bit the next time I make it.
