I am a coffeehouse regular. I love to indulge in those decadent coffee drinks. But once I realized just how indulgent those drinks really are (about 500 calories and 80 grams of sugar a pop) I switched to drinking iced caffè lattes. A combination of espresso and milk, although they are fraction of the calories they never quite cured my desire for decadence, which left me feeling like I was missing out. Then I had an epiphany...
I can create a skinny version of my favorite mocha frappaccino and have the best of both worlds. It's a fabulous treat I can whip up at home anytime!
I really am doing my best to make smart choices to be the best me possible. I work at a desk and do not have a super active lifestyle, so I bought one of those step counters that you wear on your wrist and I do my best to get my steps in. It is a great indicator of whether I am active enough (or not) and kind of helps keep me in check.
I also try to save a few calories here and there and this Skinny Mocha Frappuccino is the perfect way to save those calories so I can indulge, guilt free. I am hooked on International Delight coffee creamers and have been for some time (check out our 35+ International Delight recipes) and the Fat-Free & Sugar-Free Toasted Hazelnut flavor has really been rocking my world lately.
My favorite frozen whipped frappe cappuccino with the volume turned up thanks to my new favorite flavor and the guilt turned off.

Skinny Mocha Frappuccino
SERVES 1 (12 ounce) | ACTIVE TIME 3 Min | TOTAL TIME 3 Min
4 ounces strong coffee, cooled
2 ounces International Delight Fat-Free & Sugar-Free Toasted Hazelnut Coffee Creamer
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons sweetener (sugar, or your favorite sweetener)
1 cup ice cubes
light whipped cream
light chocolate syrup
Combine first 5 ingredients in your blender. Blend until desired consistency is reached. Top with whipped cream and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Serve and enjoy!
COOK'S NOTE: Recipe can be doubled. Simply double the ingredients and divide into two glasses.
