The Best Halloween Cocktail Recipe: The Vampire's Eclipse

Can you believe we have been celebrating Ladies Night for 2 years already?  It is so much fun to kick back and relax with the ladies, enjoying appetizers, cocktails and treats.  Well, here is a throw back for you.  One of Chad's first ever cocktail creations just in time for  Halloween.

Chad is my amazing husband, blog partner, cocktail maker, photographer and official taste tester here at TSRI.  Ladies, he does the laundry too!  True story.  This weeks Ladies Night is hosted by him.  Take it away Chad!

Happy Thursday and welcome to Ladies Night Slow Roasters! As All Hallows Eve closes in, we are celebrating with a ghoulish delight.

The Vampire Eclipse is a special treat created just for you by the count himself deep in the castle's lair.  The count worked feverishly to capture the essence and magic of the suns eclipse.  A dark river of grenadine rests on the bottom of the glass, while repelling the suns burst of orange energy, trapping a cherry between day and night.  The light rum entombs this moment forever.

Kick off your heels and pour one tonight!

White Chocolate Ghost Cocktail Shooters have all the BOO's you need! With white chocolate and marshmallow flavor you may need to make 2!

Layers of flavors combine when your favorite Halloween candy corns are quick infused and transformed into a Candy Corn Cocktail Shooter.  You are going to love it!

HUGE bubble gum flavored packed into a little shooter.  Bubble Gum Cocktail Shooters are so creamy and taste so much like your favorite bubble gum you may be tempted to chew it!

The Vampire's Eclipse
makes 1 shooter

1/2 ounce grenadine
1/2 ounce orange juice
1 ounce light rum (Bacardi)
1 maraschino cherry

Gently pour grenadine in shot glass first.  Then slowly pour in the orange juice (pour down the side of the glass to avoid mixing your layers).  Slowly lower the cherry through the orange juice to rest on the grenadine.  Lastly, add rum pouring it down the side of your glass.

Serve and enjoy!
