    1. I worked for KFC, their coleslaw cabbage mix is delivered in a bag and then there is a gallon carton of whitetish chemical that is poured into the cabbage mixture and then stirred together. But if someone is clever enough they can get the taste right.
I did find this copycat recipe:

      Ingredients
      Nutrition
      Servings 24
      Units US

      4 1⁄2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
      6 1⁄2 tablespoons vegetable oil
      3⁄4 cup chopped onion
      2 1⁄2 cups Miracle Whip
      1 cup sugar
      2 carrots
      2 heads cabbage

      Directions

      Mix oil, onions and sugar.
      Add tarragon vinegar.
      Fold in Miracle Whip.
Pour over grated carrots and cabbage.
      Fold in well.
Refrigerate in an air-tight covered dish.
Best if made the night before serving.
The tarragon is the secret seasoning.
Compare with the real KFC coleslaw.

      3 tablespoons butter
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour, or gluten free all purpose flour

      salt and pepper, optional
      Directions

Begin by heating up 1/2 cup water and two bouillon cubes in the microwave for about 2 minutes; stir them to dissolve into the hot water.
In a medium saucepan, on medium heat, whisk together the dissolved cubes, butter, flour, and chicken broth.
Continue whisking up until it gets to a low boil to be sure that you get all the lumps out.
Add additional salt and or pepper to your taste.

  1. OMGosh!
How wonderful of you to share! I am in LOVE with the Texas Roadhouse rolls! They all are keepers! Thank You!

    1. Crispy Fried Chicken KFC

      Ingredients:
      • 1 (2 to 3 lbs) cut-up chicken
      • 1 quart water
      • 3 Tbsp salt (for soaking)
      • 1 cup milk
      • 1 egg, beaten
      • 2 cups flour
      • 1 tsp Accent® (MSG)
      • 1 Tbsp salt
      • 1 tsp black pepper
      • Soybean oil (no substitutions) for frying
      Preparation:
NOTE: KFC uses pressure cookers to fry chicken, which is risky to do at home. If you are using a deep fryer, fry a few pieces at a time for about 20 minutes, covered, turning occasionally. Likewise, if pan frying, cook, covered, turning occasionally for about 30 minutes. As always with chicken, check the middle of a large piece to check for doneness. Allow to drain on paper towels when cooking is completed.
Allow chicken to soak in salted water for 30 minutes.
Mix egg and milk in a bowl. Mix flour, Accent®, salt and pepper in another bowl. Preheat deep fryer to 350° F, or place 3/4 inch oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Dry chicken with paper towels. Dredge in flour mixture. Dip into milk-egg mixture, then back into flour mixture. Do this one piece at a time making sure that there is total coverage over entire surface of chicken in each step.
      Servings:
      4

    2. I saw one time, that the 11 herbs and spices was a powdered salad dressing mix. Like good seasons italian, or maybe ranch. Never figured out which one.

    1. Ruby Tuesday Queso Dip Menu Description: "Smooth and spicy cheese dip. Served with unlimited crisp tortilla chips."
      1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 cup minced red Fresno or red jalapeno pepper (about 3 peppers)
      2 tablespoons minced white onion
2 tablespoons chopped canned mild green chili
      2/3 cup whole milk
      1/2 cup sour cream
      12 slices American cheese
1/4 cup La Victoria medium taco sauce
      1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
      1/2 teaspoon chili powder
      1/4 teaspoon salt
      1/4 cup chopped fresh spinach
      Serve with Tortilla chips
      1. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add red pepper, onion, and canned chile and saute for 5 minutes. Be sure to remove the seeds from the red peppers before you minced them.
      2. Stir in the milk and sour cream. Add American cheese and stir until the cheese is melted.
      3. Add the remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium/low and cook for 15 minutes, stirring often, until thicker. If the mixture begins to bubble reduce heat.
      4. Spoon Queso dip into a serving bowl and serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
      Makes 2 1/2 cups.

    1. Bennigan's Ultimate Baked Potato Soup…

3 pounds all-purpose potatoes, scrubbed and pierced in several places
1 tablespoon stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
      2 tablespoons minced garlic
      1 can (14 1/2 ounce) chicken broth
      3 cups milk
      1 teaspoons salt
      1/4 teaspoons pepper
TOPPINGS: shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon & chopped scallions
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Bake potatoes 1 hour or until tender when pierced. Peel when cool enough to handle. Melt butter in a 4 to 6 quart pot over medium low heat. Stir in onions and garlic, cover and cook 10 minutes until soft, but not brown. Add 2/3 of the potatoes and mash with a potato masher. Add broth, milk, salt and pepper.
