Summer grilling has never been better than it is with the addition of grilled pizza. The grill gives pizza this fabulous flavor that reminds me of brick oven pizza. I started grilling pizza about a month ago. Let me tell you, whether it is cooked on a pizza stone or straight on the grill, it is some of the best pizza I have eaten.

I have several favorite purses, several favorite cakes, and many favorite cheeses. So why would I choose one favorite barbecue sauce? Well, I wouldn't. I love experimenting with different flavors and coming up with different sauces for different dishes.
Chad has been asking for barbecue and I have been loving cooking with Jack Daniels, so I put the two together and created a fabulously scrumptious barbecue sauce with a deep smoky flavor and a little kick the chile pepper paste. The sauce is perfectly sweet and so good it will be devoured.

The next few days of vacation were fantastic. The New Orlean’s Audubon Zoo is truly worth dedicating a full day to it or you can combine it with Magazine Street shopping and tasting, like we did to make the most of a day of vacation. We are so grateful to have been invited to enjoy a family vacation in New Orleans.

I am loving cooking with Jack Daniels! It cooks down to such a fantastic flavor. My first try was the Jack Daniels Double Kick Pork Chops. They were soooo good that Chad didn't eat anything else for a week.

Pork chops are an old family staple, but I hadn't made them on the grill because I didn't want to serve dry pork chops. Who does, right? After figuring out the perfect preparation and cooking method I am happy to tell you that these grilled pork chops are incredibly moist and Chad has declared them his favorite pork chops ever. That is quite an endorsement!

It is any surprise that a carb nut like me would love sandwiches too? Well of course not. I am so excited about New Orleans. They could be in the running for the sandwich capital of America with all those fabulous Po'Boys and Muffalettas. Another city that thrills me for its fabulous sandwich representation is Philly. I mean can it really get any better than a Philly cheese steak sandwich?

Our trip to Sedona was fantabulous. Such a great way to step back and appreciate what's important. Aside from the red rocks, the energy, the vortex's and small town feel (even with 4 million visitors a year).... Sedona makes me think of burgers. Funny, isn't it! I imagine it is that restaurant that we love The Cowboy Club. Sadly we missed it this stop, but I assure you its on the top of our list for August.

You have to know what a 'burger freak' I am by now. We have created tons of gourmet burger recipes and devoured every last burger. I know I have raved about my favorite burger places and gone on and on about the different burgers.

I am so happy that it is grilling season again. I am giddy over this Grilled Tequila Lime Chicken recipe! I know I could grill all year long living in Arizona, but there is just something about spring and summer that makes grilling that much more fun. I'm in a boozy kinda grilling groove.

30 Minute Sweet and Sour Pork so much, Chad surprised me by admitting that he does indeed like Asian flavors. Imagine my surprise after 9 months of Chinese food cravings and a husband that I had to drag kicking and screaming. So, this was a great piece of news. Immediately the wheels started turning. So, first I decided to bring it to the grill.

Hey Slow Roasters, there's a new chick in town! This Grilled Breaded Chicken Sandwich is a healthier version of the old fried chicken classic, with a fresh TSRI twist. Every opportunity to make this sandwich is the perfect one. This chicken is our family favorite; in fact Chad wants it on the menu every week! The grilled breaded chicken is even divine on a tossed salad, just don't forget the pickles.
Don't want to grill? This breaded chicken cooks up beautifully under the broiler too! A fabulous marinade keeps this chicken so moist you won't believe it! Check out the special marinade that makes this so recipe delicious.

Last week I was brainstorming new ideas for chicken recipes and I had put together this fantastic idea for a Hawaiian inspired chicken. I had the recipe all written up when it hit me... BURGER!!! Oh yeah! This monster of a burger here is all Hawaiian inspired (at least from the opinion of this main lander).

London Broil, also known as top round or flank steak, is a very lean and inexpensive cut of beef. I am always looking for new ways to prepare it. This rub gives the steak a lot of flavor with a little kick!
Cooked on the grill this steak has a fantastic caramelized flavor. It is definitely not a good choice for those who prefer their beef on the well-side. However if you like your beef medium or more rare, you are in for a special treat!
