Meatball Tortellini Soup - Tips and Tricks
- Switch up the meat. Ground turkey or chicken are a wonderful lean alternative, or you can try spicy pork sausage to add a little heat.
- Add more flavor. Mix your favorite spices into the ground beef before you roll it into balls. A blend of Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder are usually my go-tos.
- Try different sauces. This is an easy way to play with flavor since there are so many varieties to choose from! Grab your favorite jar or whip up a batch of my homemade marinara instead.
- Want to use fresh pasta? Whether you make your own or grab a package from the refrigerated section of the store, all you need to do is stir it in closer to serving time. 15 to 20 minutes should be perfect.
