Mint Chocolate Homemade Fudge + Video

Homemade chocolate fudge is so simple and delicious with no candy thermometer needed. This fully loaded mint chocolate fudge is going to blow your mind!

I can’t get enough of homemade fudge, rich and creamy easy fudge recipes. It all started with this Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Fudge made without sweetened condensed milk. And we have more fudge coming your way.

Mint Chocolate Homemade Fudge is minty and creamy with the crunch of your favorite minty candies and Oreo cookies.

It’s the perfect bite. And it is so versatile. Change out a few ingredients and you have a whole new recipe.

It is amazing and great for a St. Patrick’s Day treat.

How Do You Make Fudge?

 

  • Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes until the butter has melted and the mixture is hot, stir after each minute and continue melting.
  • Add the chocolate to the hot condensed milk and butter mixture, and press it down a little bit with a spoon, then just let it sit for 3 to 4 minutes in the hot liquid
    .
  • Stir the chocolate mixture, the chocolate should combine very easily with the liquid. It will thicken as it cools.
  • Pour your chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and smooth it out with your spatula.
  • Add crushed Oreos, M&Ms and Kit Kat pieces, mix well. Save 1/4 of each for topping the fudge.
  • Pour into prepared pan and put it in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours until it sets up completely.
  • Cut into small pieces or big if you like and enjoy!

  • You can use all semi-sweet chocolate chips if you like, or all milk
    chocolate, or all dark chocolate or even white chocolate, the
    possibilities are endless.
  • Swap out the extract for vanilla to make delicious chocolate fudge.
  • You can switch out the toppings to make an entirely new recipe.

Ingredients
 

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips, or dark or semi-sweet
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 package KitKat Duos Mint & Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • 15 Oreo Mint Thins, crushed
  • 1 cup Crunchy Mint M&Ms, crushed

Instructions
 

  • Line a 9×9 pan with parchment paper.
  • Combine sweetened condensed milk and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat in the microwave for 2 to 3 minutes until the butter has melted and the mixture is hot, stir after each minute and continue melting.
  • Add the chocolate to the hot condensed milk and butter mixture, and press it down a little bit with a spoon, then just let it sit for 3 to 4 minutes in the hot liquid.
  • Stir the chocolate mixture, the chocolate should combine very easily with the liquid. It will thicken as it cools.
  • Pour your chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and use a silicone spatula to smooth it out.
  • Add crushed Oreos, M&Ms and Kit Kat pieces, mix well. Save 1/4 of each for topping the fudge.
  • Pour into prepared pan and put it in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours to chill. Refrigerate until it sets up completely.
  • Slice mint chocolate fudge into 24 squares. Serve and enjoy!
