Cranberry Vanilla Martini

Happy Thanksgiving from Donna and Chad (and Em of course) at The Slow Roasted Italian.  Thanksgiving is the mark of my favorite time of year.  From Thanksgiving until Christmas (and sometimes New Year) everyone seems to be a little happier, a little nicer, a little friendlier.  I am filled with the spirit of this season everyday and as we kick off Thanksgiving, I would like to share with you, what fills me with this spirit.

As with all of us, life has many challenges.  I have been challenged more times than I can count.  I try to always be grateful for what God has given me and remember there are others out there that face even more challenges.  These experiences have opened me up to see my blessings.  I don't exactly count them, but I always thank God for them and make sure I make note of them.  Tonight as I am preparing for Thanksgiving, I am remembering all these things that fill me up with such joy, love and spirit.  I am thankful that God is the center of my life and my families lives.  I am grateful for my daughter and husband.  I feel so blessed to be a mom, wife, daughter, sister, and friend. I truly have experienced miracles in my life and I am so grateful to bear witness to God's work.

I am grateful to have such a fantastic circle of family and friends. I am grateful for this blog and all the wonderful friends I have made through this blog.  I have so many more blessings that I could share, but I wonder what are you grateful for?

Toast with your family and friends today with this amazingly flavorful Cranberry Vanilla Martini. Dried cranberries are infused into vodka and mixed with vanilla vodka and orange liqueur to create this perfect Thanksgiving cocktail.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
