Peach Cobbler Smoothie Milk Shake
With peaches finally in season I have been so excited to make my Southern Peach Cobbler. Again this falls into the "so good I can eat it for breakfast" category. Now that I am a mom though, sitting down with a pan of cobbler for breakfast is not the best example to set. Not to mention, a pan of cobbler is not the healthiest option.
After some serious brainstorming I have come up with the perfect solution. A Peach Cobbler Smoothie Milk Shake!!! It has all the flavors of my favorite cobbler, with NONE of the guilt! This is amazing for breakfast or dessert. You are going to love it!
Peach Cobbler Smoothie Milk Shake
Serves 4 (makes about 56 ounces)
4 cups frozen peaches
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup fat free plain yogurt
2 cups 2% milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 vanilla cookie, finely chopped
Place all ingredients in the bowl of a blender. Blend until smooth. Scrape down sides as necessary. Garnish with cookie pieces.
Serve and enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI made this yesterday and ohmagerd, it is delicious! The cake topping is fantastical and I must say as a Georgia girl, THIS IS THE BEST PEACH COBBLER, I'VE EVER HAD! Had to shout it. I would be standing on a rooftop, but it's raining and our roof is slanted...so that would probably be a bad idea. Fantastic recipe and will definitely be in the family cookbook! Thanks TSRI!
