I can’t seem to get enough blueberries this summer.  I know we are only a week into June, but we have been to Costco at least 3 times in the last week and a half to pick up more berries.  I love their fresh berries.  They are always great quality.

When I was working on my new favorite lemon cake (check back for that one). I decided blueberry sauce would be divine on top.  I was soooo right.  But not just any sauce.  The Berry Blueberry Sauce is thick and bright with the addition of orange juice it really zings.  The addition of almond really gives this sauce a fantastic flavor.

Blueberry Syrup Recipe

My family does not care for the blueberry skins, so I popped the sauce into my blender and gave it a whirl.  You can serve it right off the stove too!  Perfectly summery.  Simple and ready in just 10 minutes.

Enjoy!|

  1. Going to Costco tomorrow for more blueberries and cherries- I love it when they're in season! I have a blueberry pound cake that this would be perfect on. 🙂
