The salad starts with a bed of arugula, a peppery green. Laid on top of the arugula is your favorite pear, sweet and soft sliced thinly with a spritz of olive oil over the salad. A sprinkle of toasted walnuts, give a nutty flavor and crunch.
Arrange arugula on a medium plate. Lay pear on top. Squeeze lemon over lettuce and pear, sprinkle with salt and spritz with olive oil. Sprinkle walnuts over top. Add Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper.
