Light Blue Cheese Dip
Blue cheese and buffalo wings are a match made in heaven. So, when I developed the Buffalo Chicken Meatball Poppers, a light blue cheese dip was destined to follow.nThe poppers are fabulous on their own, but with that outrageous blue cheese dip they are unbelievable. Herbs and spices makes this blue cheese dip so flavorful you can serve it proudly.
Ingredients
- 5 ounces reduced fat crumbled blue cheese
- 3/4 cup buttermilk or make your own
- 3/4 cup light sour cream
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives chopped
Instructions
- In a medium bowl combine all ingredients (except chives). Mix until well combined. Garnish with chives. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
If you wish to have a creamier dip you can pour this into a food processor and blend until smooth, or smash blue cheese and buttermilk together with a fork until smooth and then add additional ingredients.
