Isn't that the best group of photos? Christmas cookies, Thanksgiving stuffing, pan-fried chicken thighs, crockpot carnitas and that hottie in the center there... That is Chad. 2 years ago for Christmas I got him a NASCAR Racing Experience. So, he had the opportunity to actually drive a real NASCAR car on the track at the PIR (Phoenix International Raceway). That is the same track that we will be watching the NASCAR race at this weekend. Think they will let him drive? I wonder if I could talk to someone. LOL.

Totally freakin' excited about the race. It is next Sunday. BTW, if you are looking for a Christmas gift that will blow the ordinary gift out of the water... Get the NASCAR Racing Experience. There is usually a Groupon available to make it relatively reasonable. I highly recommend it.

In the kitchen this week... we are working on a lot of fabulous recipes. Comfort food and lots of crockpot dinners are the theme this week. Of course, Lazy Day cooking. Which by the way... Big secret (not anymore) we are working on our Lazy Day eCookBook. It will be out soon. What do you think about that?

I hope you enjoyed catching up! {{Let me know in the comments below.}}

With love from our simple kitchen to yours.
