Welcome to TSRI’s Summer Grilling Celebration!  I love sweet cocktails in the summer.  My favorites are of course drinks that are inspired by my favorite desserts.  It is no surprise (I am sure) that I love lemon cream pie.  I say it is no surprise because I have a bit of a lemon love affair going on.  I also have a bit of a cake love affair, but that is a story for another day.

This Lemon Cream Pie Martini is truly like the dessert in a cocktail.  It is lemony, smooth, and has the fantastic creaminess that the Whipped vodka provides.  The rim is covered in graham cracker for even more flavor. Try more of our Dessert Cocktails.

I remember when I was a kid, growing up in Florida…  We would pack up our coolers full of summer favorites, burgers, hot dogs, salads and dessert, and head off to the beach.  We would spend the whole day at our favorite beach and grill lunch and dinner.  Such fond memories.  This cocktail makes me think of sitting on the beach at the end of the day, enjoying my favorite pie and listening to the waves roll in as I watch the sun set.  It is amazing how closely our senses are tied to our memories.  I can hear the waves, smell the salt water and almost feel the tingle of the wind and the water brushing my arm.

Happy Summer!

Enjoy!
