Check out what is trending this week on The Slow Roasted Italian. Our top 5 most popular recipes this week are a combination of old favorites and new summer recipes. I'm sure you will love them all!

Crockpot Pork Chops are the easiest slow cooker recipe ever. Toss and go. Toss it all in the crockpot and you return to perfectly tender, melt in your mouth pork cooked in the most spectacular sauce.  It is a little sweet, a little spicy, a little barbequey (yes I made that word up) and a lot delicious. Prepped in just 5 minutes.

Blueberry Almond Breakfast Cake is the perfect combination of blueberry and almond in a tender butter cake. This recipe comes together so easily with just a handful of ingredients you will find yourself whipping it up all year long. Perfect for making any time of year with fresh or frozen fruit.

The Best Ever Southern Peach Cobbler is the simple recipe of your dreams.  Fresh sweet peaches baked in a spiced sugar mixture and topped with the most amazing cobbler topping.  Sprinkled with sugar for a caramelized topping it is heaven on a plate.

4-Ingredient Peanut Blossom Cookies are billowy and soft, chewy and peanut butter-y. As if that isn't enough it's then topped with a Kiss. They are incredible! I can't keep my hands off of them. Just stir scoop and bake. This simple recipe will be ready to go in the oven before it is done preheating!

Best Ever No-Bake Icebox desserts may just very well be my favorite thing about summer. I live in Arizona and turning the oven (or the stove) on to make a dessert is not on the top of my list.  Here is a collection of our top 6 and you are going to love them too!

On the home front, it is August and it is still so hot. The kitchen is the warmest part of the house year round, so I like to try and keep it cool in the summer by limiting the stove and oven use. There is a lot of crockpot cooking and cold sandwiches and salads. Quick and easy one pot meals are common too.

I hope you enjoyed catching up! {{Let me know in the comments below.}}

With love from our simple kitchen to yours.
