Homemade gravy is one of my favorite shortcuts in the kitchen. 5 Minute Homemade Brown Gravy will be a meal saver. All you need is this simple recipe, no packet needed.
Being able to whip up gravy in a flash has been a dinner saver more than one time in my kitchen. There are so many kitchen shortcuts that I have learned and I love sharing them with you. I love being in the kitchen and enjoy spending time creating fantastic dishes my family and friends will go crazy over.
Time is not on my side most days so I look to the tips and tricks I have learned to get dinner on the table in a flash I am sure this one will help you too!

5 Minute, 5 Ingredient, 5 Star Brown Gravy
makes about 2 cups
¼ cup butter
¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups water
4 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
Combine water and bouillon in a heat proof container (I use my glass measuring cup). Heat the beef broth in microwave 1 minute at a time, until it is steaming hot.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, add flour and onion powder and whisk together. Allow to cook for 1 minute, whisking occasionally (this helps cook out the ‘floury’ taste). Add beef broth to flour mixture and whisk. Bring to boil, reduce to simmer for 1 minute.
Serve and enjoy!
