Cinco de Mayo Cocktails

Its time for our Cinco de Mayo cocktail round up!  We have had some real fun putting these drinks together for you. It has been an amazing month of tequila cocktails.  We got a great deal on Jose Cuervo Gold a while back and had bought a bottle, it was sitting at the back of the liquor cabinet when we started planning this months cocktails.  I wasn't a big tequila fan (I really do remember the saying "One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, FLOOR").  Not one to take chances as an adult I can say I haven't had it in many years (probably since college).  Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to find I reallllllly like this tequila.  We have since purchased another bottle and now have 4 FABULOUS tequila cocktails to add to the Cinco de Mayo Cocktail Round Up!

Puckered JalapeƱo Frozen Margarita is the perfect cocktail. Spicy Jalapeno flavor in a cooling frozen cocktail, lemony sweet with a salted rim, served with a jalapeno. FIESTA!!!

Sweet Summery Watermelon Martini is fun and refreshing, almost tropical and a great treat for a day time Cinco de Mayo party!

Not your Grandma's lemonade. This Lucky Lemon Seven cocktail is a combination of the juices of muddled lemons, 7Up and Grey Goose Vodka!

Legends Lemon Drop Martini The fabulous Lemon Drop Martini served at the Legends Ball by Oprah Winfrey, sweet and sour just like eating the candy. A more upscale looking cocktail for your Mexican themed dinner party!

What Cinco de Mayo party is complete without the Classic Frozen Margarita made with Jose Cuervo Gold?  It is a perfectly sweet frozen cocktail that will transport you to Margaritaville!

The Tequila Sunrise, done right with Jose Cuervo Gold.  A fabulous party drink for Cinco de Mayo!

El Dorado cocktail is an amazing blend of Cuervo Gold with sweet agave and vanilla notes, beautifully combined with fresh lemon juice and honey. A cocktail that will find you loving tequila as it dances with your taste buds.

Pomegranate Martini The pomegranate is the star in this martini, a little sweet, a little tart, a little healthy and A LOT FABULOUS!!!

We hope you enjoyed our Cinco de Mayo round up!  If you have a favorite cocktail go ahead and link to it in the comments.  We love to hear from you!!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo,

Donna and Chad
