What is your favorite herb this week? I have found an unending need for rosemary this week. Luckily I have a lovely Tuscan Blue Rosemary plant in my faux garden (6 herb plants in pots, sitting on a table on my porch).
Rosemary is in my Rosemary Basil Sun-dried tomatoes, Focaccia Bread, in my eggs, everywhere! What herb has been reappearing in your kitchen this week?
Cilantro has been for a couple of weeks now!
ReplyDeleteHow could one have only one? I love growing basil for pesto in the summer. I always buy cilantro (doesn't grow well here). I put it in green salads and it spikes it up. I always grow rosemary in the summer. Nothing like fresh herbs. Joni

I've never had a chance to try out rosemary... the most commonly used herbs in my kitchen are cilantro, mint, fenugreek leaves, etc.. though Im also very fond of eating basil raw - its very good for curing coughs and colds.
ReplyDeleteI'd have to go with cilantro - love it!
ReplyDeleteI also love sage & rosemary.
